I spend my weekend at KLCC. Yeah, I’m a kampong girl who rarely comes to KLCC. It’s amazing how many people spend their time at shopping malls. I meant I agree KLCC is a nice place to be, with its park and the number of foreigners *can do people watching* :) But what I realize in my 3 hours there was that most people where just on the corridors and walkways loitering around. If you really look into all the shops and outlets, you can count the number of people inside :p
So here are my observations during my time at KLCC:
Observation 1:
There are 4 types of people who go to KLCC. Firstly, people who thinks is cool to be there. It is such an ‘IN’ place to be in. I meant how cool is that to tell people “Let’s hang out at KLCC” or “Let’s have dinner at KLCC”. Secondly, people who wanna go dating. You have the park, which is a pretty nice and romantic place to hang out. Third, people who really wanna buy stuff. All those rich people with lots of money to spare :) Lastly, people*like me* who only can do window shopping and wish; for all those gorgeous-but-super-duper-expensive stuff…
Observation 2:
Recession or no recession, woman business will never run out of business. I meant we all know that times are bad, economic situation is going down and people are getting retrenched. But if you really look around, woman, girls, ladies are still SHOPPING!!!! Hehe *me included. It’s like an addiction and cravings that we need to satisfy. It is the therapy that we need to heal all those woes and problems and stress that we have. It’s the love that we can never give up.
Observation 3:
I had the best fish I’ve ever tasted in my life. It was fresh, soft, tender, juicy, tantalizing, perfectly cooked, with just a hint of spice. It glides down the throat with such finesse and leaves you wanting more. Sigh… fabulous!! My boyfie promised to take me there again. So I writing it down here so that he can remember: p (You promise me already). Go try it, I’m sure you will agree with me.
So here’s my weekend, wrap up in a post
Toodles..

What is it with free stuff and everyone turns into a cheapskate? Every time I hear the word ‘free’ or sales, I expect thongs of people and sweaty armpits. It’s amazing how normal, sane and well-dress people will turn into an oh-my-goodness-unbelievable-madness whenever those words appear.
The last few days, GSC at Tropicana City Mall was having free movie screening. And being the cheapskate I am, I went for it :) Sunday afternoon was a surprise. We arrived right before the movie, when straight to the counter, redeem our tickets, bought some stuff to munch on and headed into the cinema with lots of time to spare.
Not believing out good luck, we decided to try again on Monday night. And true to my dismay, the news was out. Nevertheless, we manage to get some seats for ‘Confession of a Shopaholic’
Now, that’s one story I can totally relate to. So often the urge to buy and buy overcomes the sane person in me. I meant I don’t go as crazy as her but whenever I see something I like; I will go ahead and grab it even when I know my bank account is zilch. I know I know… and after getting them, I regret for not resisting the temptation. Even worst is online shopping. Now, I don’t need to go out and mingle with all the sweaty and crazy people. I just sit in the comfort of my room and shop my heart away. Sigh..
Shopping is such a sin.
Yet I do it again and again.
“When I shop the world gets better, the world is better; and then it’s not anymore and I have to do it again.” quote from Rebecca Bloomwood. Sigh…
Shopping is NOT a sin.
Coveting and lust is a sin.
So don’t covet and lust..
After all, I’m sure you gals can relate to this “We all have a destiny in life and since 14 I knew I was out on this earth to shop” quote from Rebecca again.
Yep that’s me, and I ain’t fighting my destiny ;p

So shop away babes..
Just remember to STAY OUT OF DEBTS!!!
